Sam Moore is a former television news producer, and TV advertising account executive, turned marketing professional. He was responsible for the content of the evening news at CBS owned & operated, KDKA-TV, in Pittsburgh, PA, and sold millions of dollars of commercials for CBS television stations in Columbus, Ohio and Huntington, West Virginia. Later, he leveraged these same communications skills in marketing management positions with Emerson Electric, and tech leader, Cisco Systems, Inc. |
Video Upload Hero is a marketing service that helps clients grab audience attention in the internet age. “The rules about mass communication have all changed, which is why I founded Video Upload Hero,” says Moore. The firm “bulk submits” customer videos to more than one hundred websites, doing in days and weeks what Search Engine Optimization (SEO) by itself might take months and years to accomplish. “Bulk posting of videos is made better when the content is a short, entertaining movie, rather than a hard hitting commercial,” according to Moore. Video Upload Hero partners with independent screen writers and movie makers to produce short movies, tailor-made for clients, which creates the potential to “go viral,” i.e. spread by word of mouth. Cost is in the hundreds, or a few thousand – not the tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands, associated with commercial TV.
Mr. Moore has a B.S. degree in Languages & Linguistics from Georgetown University, has done post graduate work in journalism at Northwestern University, and has extensive continuing education in computer science at Ohio State University. He has lived and worked in Milan, Italy and Madrid, Spain, and currently resides in San Jose, California.
